Cupcakes from My Aunty C’s Kitchen

My cousin’s home from Perth and her mum/ my aunt made some lovely cupcakes as a welcome home treat.  I’m so lucky to have an aunt who is such a great baker.  She’s actually a primary school teacher by vocation, but I think she’s a baker at heart.

She whips up the best Indian and Ceylonese dishes too.  I hope she reads this so that I get to indulge in my gluttony and share photos of cuisine from our ethnic group. I am very particular about my calories and won’t waste them on just anything, but I love anything that has her magic touch.

You just can’t stop at one with her delectable cupcakes.  The buttery cake was moist and the creamy icing, pure heaven!  I am sure the rest of the family who missed out on this lot, will be hoping for a new batch soon. Sorry for taunting you with the pictures.

They look yummy. I’m sure the decorations must have taken a lot of time and effort!
