A List: Happiness in Singapore

Sometimes I tire of my own griping. I thought to balance things out I should sometimes go the other way instead. I often dream of moving somewhere else where the grass is greener and feel I am stuck here. The funny thing is whenever I come back from a holiday I just feel this rare surge of love for Singapore. Maybe its our spiffy welcoming airports and the thought of family and my cosy bed. Maybe it’s the friendly cabbie who picks you up at the airport and helps you with your luggage. It could also be the thought of my favourite hawker noodles that I haven’t had for weeks.

Since one of my personal obsessions is making lists I’ll start one on ‘Happiness in Singapore’ and see how many I can get up to. They will be in no particular order, and they do say happiness is contagious?

I am the exact opposite. As the holiday draws to an end, I count the numbers of days left and feel even more depressed .

since I’ve a lot of complaints like the weather i decided to go the other way round. Something of a psychological trick – to make myself feel better 🙂
