When you live near the equator, you get used to the booming thunder and flashes of low lightning. It’s not so scary any more. I think if you’re safely indoors, most Singaporeans welcome the rain. It brings a happy coolness to our otherwise year round summer. I especially love how the air smells after the rain.

Yesterday was one of the few days where the air actually felt cooler after the rain in a long time…
it rained in the middle of the night at 3am 🙂 I thought that was nice
Nothing I love more than the smell of a freshly-mowed lawn…or brand new book…or currency notes! LOL!!!
i love brand new books too 🙂
oh how I love a good thunderstorm.
when you live in a hot climate..it’s what we live for 🙂 refreshing.
It’s better when we’re under the covers in our beds when it happens….love falling asleep to the rain.
I must visit your blog…….it sounds fascinating to me and I would love to learn about Ethiopia.
