This was my first time trying Sea Salt Caramel at Azabu Sabo and I did not regret it. I usually go for milk chocolate, but the sea salt was so lovely. I will definitely go for it again. It was refreshing – not too sweet or cloyingly rich. It had the lightness of gelato.
There were two girls at the counter. The one collecting the money was chipper and cheerful, but the one taking orders and scooping, was the female version of Oscar the grouch. I hope she smiles more, cos ice cream and grouchiness just don’t seem to go together.

I don’t think I have ever seen a triangular ice cream cone before. Have you tried the Haagen-Dazs version of this? Here’s a review. I don’t know if it was for a limited time but it was delicious! http://www.needcoffee.com/2008/05/23/haagen-dazs-fleur-de-sel-caramel-review/
The triangle cone is cool….but the ice cream melts really fast. My theory is that the good quality stuff melts fast, like chocolate as well. I don’t think we have that flavor yet, for Haagen-Daz in Singapore. I must keep a look out for it 🙂 thanks so much for popping by my blog Ody!!
I truely agree that the real stuff melts faster! This is scientifically proven in chocolates because cocoa butter melts at the human body temperature. So unless there’s no cocoa butter in chocolate, it should melt! The ice cream looks good! Just the thing I need these few months. It’s hot like hell even with the fan on! I wonder why there aren’t more ice cream shops around.
It’s no use taking a bath if there’s no air-conditioning…. i need like another bath as soon as I’m out
