Green Roof Tiles, Blue Mosaic Tables and Frangipani at China Square

I like China Square when it’s empty of the office crowds. It’s a real nice place to walk around and you can spot sculptures like this bronze installation of a food seller from the past.

Red makes a fine contrast against yellow, but I was drawn to the old chinese glazed green roof tiles.

There are great little restaurants here, swamped by the office crowd during the lunch hours from Noon to 2pm.

This place retains it’s courtyard structure and is now used as a restaurant.

Walking further along, around the China Square area, in the lovely drizzle, I spotted a closed restaurant with great looking blue mosaic tables. Aren’t they beautiful. I wish I had the round white and blue ones in my home.

There were beautiful pink frangipani trees dotting the path.
