Should I Change My Blog Design?

Update: Ok I’ve taken the plunge and changed it, but lots of my stuff and video links have now disappeared. If you stumble upon my blog and are frustrated by the empty spaces, please bear with me as I try to sort it out.

I’m facing a dilemma. I don’t know if I should change my blog theme. Would it confuse people? Somehow when I look at how my content looks on other themes I still prefer this one. I also like the font size on the current one, as my eyesight is not that great.

But the real compelling reason is, I am facing a loading issue. My family is complaining that my blog takes forever to load. I am technically rubbish and am wondering if a photo theme, which is one column or maybe two, would be easier to load? Or have I just been putting too many photos? But I love how a photo can convey so much more and I find it impossible to cut down.

I have been previewing a couple of themes and I have shortlisted a simple one called blue green. Maybe I’ll just go with it. I can always change it back later. Or maybe a new one will catch my eye. Sigh….I don’t know why I am wishy washy when it comes to blog designs. When it comes to things like furniture, clothes or food or anything else for that matter I instantly know what I want and just stick with it.

The new format looks great, the earlier 3 column at a glance design was a bit strenuous ha

Thank you!! great to have feedback that the 3 column wasn’t working….I was so used to it I didn’t realise how tedious it could be for scrolling 🙂 Thanks for coming by too gdyeshoez!!

I like your new blog design! Why have the links disappeared, that is weird.

I wish I wasn’t so rubbish at this tech stuff. I think it’s just set that way automatically. Couldn’t add my previous widgets in. Thanks for the feedback…it really helps. I think this might be easier to scroll than a 3 column 🙂

This format is good too. I didn’t have any problems loading up the previous format either.
