I can relate to Sunshine and Starlight’s post on so many levels I just had to reblog it! Sadly, I am a night owl and so ashamed of it. Somehow, I just function better and write better at night. Maybe someone will read this and give me a job as a night shift writer…I can dream.
If I am compelled to I will get up early, usually on a few hours of sleep, but feel awful and zombie like the whole day through. I think it’s got something to do with not getting quality sleep due to anxiety and being too wired up. I tend to toss and turn all night long so I figured I might as well be up and get stuff done. I secretly love the night time because it is quiet and peaceful and I get so much more done in perfect silence. My powers of concentration peak at 2am when everyone else is soundly sleeping.
Being a night owl is not all bad. I get important stuff done, like reading the fabulous blogs on my blogroll and discovering new gems. Your writing keeps me inspired and I love belonging to the WordPress society of fully functioning owls like me.
I’m so glad we see eye to eye on this, even hundreds of miles apart. That owl clock picture is PERFECT! We will figure it out one day. And like you said, being a night owl isn’t all that bad. 🙂 Have a lovely Tuesday and thanks again for the blog love!!
Hope you have a lovely Tuesday too 🙂
Tuesday just flew by…It’s Wednesday where I am…isn’t that freaky? We are not only miles apart we are hours apart…that’s why I just love this blog world that knocks down all barriers 🙂
