The Noose – Best Show on Local TV

Michelle Chong and Chua Enlai are just so darn good on ‘The Noose’.  (There is a reason why it is named The Noose!)  So are Suhaimi and Alaric Tay.  The four of them make a great cast.  I am impressed by their convincing accents and comic timing.

I just wish someone would upload more of season 3 of this show, The Noose, which is shown on channel 5 at 8.30pm every Tuesday  It’s an irreverent take on Singapore politics, and I love how they criticise current events through satire – for frustrated locals, it’s deliciously funny.  Today they poked fun at our officials nonchalent, ‘taichi’ (pushing the responsibility on citizens instead) attitude towards the recent floods.  I truly hope this show remains on air and doesn’t get cut suddenly.  We need more quality shows like this one, on local TV.

I can’t wait to catch this episode, filmed at MacRitchie Reservoir.
