Umbrella Road Sign

Ever wondered what this road sign means? I did. B explained that it’s for cyclists and bikers that need shelter when it rains. The sign indicates that there’s an area with a separate path under a tunnel where they can drive into for safe shelter from the rain. I thought that was pretty cool.

Another very new road sign is one that was put up for the upcoming Youth Olympic Games (YOG) reminding you to give way. I was glad I got this shot because it’s pretty hard to get a good shot from a moving vehicle and darn shutter lag.

Yup the umbrella sign is to direct motorcycles to sheltered areas when raining. I learnt it while studying my BTT!

Thanks for this post! Very timely, too, as I just came back from two short trips to Singapore and this sign really had me stumped! 🙂
