Marble Slab Creamery: Dark Chocolate Ice-Cream at Scape

I always thought Scape (2 Orchard Link opposite Cathay Cineleisure) was just an area in Orchard Road for teens to roller blade and stay out of trouble.  Over the weekend I found out that it’s a mall as well, with interesting little outdoor food kiosks and places for kids to sell their goods like used clothes, in the basement.  The dark chocolate ice cream (S$4.50) I had was so yummy.  The one scoop disappeared real fast.

Marble Slab Creamery began its story in Houston, Texas in 1983 serving fresh-made gourmet ice cream to fellow aficionados. This led to the development of the now famous “frozen slab” technique for ice cream preparation. Today they have stores in 35 states, along with locations in Canada, Puerto Rico, The United Arab Emirates and Singapore.
