Coming Soon To Singapore: More Shopping & Junk Food Temptations

I saw these coming soon signs as I was walking through the Raffles City underground link.  Hershey’s World and Garret Popcorn Shops are already open at Sentosa just outside the Singapore Universal Studios.  They must be doing pretty well and are probably gonna expand in Singapore big time now.  The great thing about Singapore is that there are constant upgrades that keep the city vibrant and convenience is always increased.  Developers are building a new link all the way to the Esplanade.

I spotted this coming soon sign for Daiso (wonderful Japanese store where each item is S$2 only) at ION Orchard a month or so ago.  I think the store should be open now.  The official ION sites says they open in August and are located at B4-47.  They open from 10am to 10pm and this will be their 7th branch in Singapore.  I have to admit sometimes I end up buying things I don’t need but I found the most useful items are the vacuum sealable bags for travel purposes. I also use them to flatten and store my sweaters which I only use when I travel to cold places.
