Saybons For a Healthy Soup Meal

Finally they have added a seating area to this little stall which is located in Plaza Singapura which is a mall in town (in Singapore we refer to the Orchard Road area as town). They must be doing well. I saw many well dressed ladies here, who are probably watching their diets although they didn’t look like they need to. The decor here is like a chic Parisian Cafe, but a sleek modernized version. I love their black and white wallpaper. The soup is pretty good too and my companion loves the seafood bisque which is made with crabs and prawn, not lobster. The best lobster bisque I’ve ever had was at a simple foodcourt in Boston – it was amazingly good!

I’ve also tried the nutella crepe sometime ago, but somehow it was too hot. You could burn the roof of your mouth with it. Maybe I should give it another chance. The crepe served in Paris by outdoor vendors were so yummy. The crepe is just warm and the nutella tasted like it had more actual chocolate in it. I am always annoyed that we don’t get the original version of nutella and other stuff like hot chocolate here. The chocolates that are made in Asia taste just awful. I am sure there is trans fat and palm sugar in the chocolate. Always look for the ones imported from the UK – those are the best. I don’t think we are able to get the ones from the US and that sucks.
