Singapore Daily Photo: The Sky Lately

I think I am seriously deprived of nature. That’s why I end up taking so many pictures of the clouds and the sky and the trees. I just need more green space and bodies of water. That would make me real happy. I may have been born in a hot urban jungle but I definitely have an affinity for the cool rural countryside.

The way the weather changes also reflects my mood. Mostly gloomy, but there are some bright sparks here and there, when I forget to worry.

I think it’s sad that we don’t have pretty scenery and nature to retreat to or delight in. I think people would be more contented, less irritable and less kiasu when they are in peaceful surroundings.

  2. Weather can influence anyone’s mood. Where I live I could actually feel the change in the air and the shift from summer to autumn. It’s a subtle strange feeling. You see a leaf on the floor. You notice it’s dark a little bit earlier. You feel the breeze is a little bit lower, cooler and some how refreshing. I’m enjoying it. I’d say to try to appreciate whatever weather you are given. A nice book and fire when it rains or a swim pool when it’s hot.

    Hope you are well, friend.

guess my mood was already gloomy….just one of those days. kind comments like yours always cheer me up 🙂

I actually kinda like it when it rains because it brings the temperature down by 2 or 3 degrees and that’s most welcome 🙂
