If you visit Osaka you must take a look at the market called Kuromon Ichiba at Nippombashi. You will be blown away at how pretty the fresh produce looks.
The most amazing looking Japanese grapes which were selling at a fraction of the cost of the airflown ones you find in the Singapore Japanese Supermarkets.
I think this was kelp (seaweed).
Gorgeous looking snow crabs.
Wow the colour of that fish meat is amazing.
Who knew fish row could be this breath-takingly beautiful.
Look at the suckers on that octopus.
Shrimp.
The fish that could kill you if not prepare by an expert – the puffer fish.
Beautiful white eggs.
It would be amazing for expats who could buy fresh produce to cook at home.
The market looks amazing. Did you buy any stuff to cook?
was only there for 3 days and there was so much of affordable cheap eats to chose from. Loads of street food too. Japan is definitely my fave place in Asia.
Cool! I may want to visit it soon!
I’m so glad I could give people a bit of a preview of Osaka…..before I went I was searching blogs for info as well 🙂 I love getting travel info from bloggers
