The Diamaru is Osaka is just so pretty and pristine. It’s like a shopping palace. The front of the store even has a stone peacock carving to welcome shoppers.

I wonder why we don’t have a similar concept store in Singapore. The food hall in the basement is just amazing. That’s what I call beautiful food. Don’t even get me started on the packaging being an art form.
Comfy chairs at each level for when you’re tired of shopping, or tired of your spouse shopping.
Everything was just so pristine, clean, meticulously arranged. So Japanese. It was wonderful. And I don’t even care for shopping that much.
It is indeed very pretty. It strikes me as very french looking for some reason. I wish shops in Singapore would wow us like that too.
I wish Singapore shops would look more pristine like this one. Japanese shops just look so clean and it appeals to the cleanliness fanatic in me. Grime at shopping centres always put me off. The colours they use are also so soothing.
