My relatives love shopping across the causeway, as the groceries are so much cheaper. The branded clothes are more expensive, but you can get some really good deals at the outlet type stores. What I like best is the street food like roti chanai, wan tan mee, pao and goreng pisang, and the people are just so much more laid back and friendlier. It’s great that you can spend just an hour there and then return to Singapore without the expense or hassle of an overnight stay.

I’ve always wanted to go check it out for a day. I want to head up to KL too eventually, but one of these days I’m going to head over to Malaysia for a few hours.
If you do go to KL you must check out Batu Caves…I’ll do a post on that one day.
yesyes you should go! my family and I go over to Malaysia once in a while! 😀
