Jalan Sultan Prawn Mee

The best prawn mee soup in town, especially when you add the special red chilli powder to it.  I always wish I could just have more of just the soup.  It never seems enough. The soup has a wonderful flavour and be sure to remove the pieces of fried lard unless you want to clog your arteries. I am personally not a fan of lard, but if it adds this kind of flavour to the soup, then I’m all for it.

The fact that office people in long-sleeved shirts and ladies in their polyester skirt suits, brave the stuffy heat in this crowded coffee shop should give you an idea of how good it is.

The only problem is the prawns are not deshelled and it can be a little messy to eat.
