Andersen’s Ice Cream

In the crowded mall known as Ang Mo Kio Hub (my least favourite mall to be honest) where people are constantly walking into you, there is a haven, a sort of quiet escape which is Andersen’s Ice Cream. All that white in the decor, with the menu’s providing splashes of red is quite pretty. I liked the high ceiling which gave this small cafe the feeling of space.

The cappuccino was a bit weak, but the cookie that came with it was so divine. I wish I could have more. To be fair, this is an ice cream place and the ice cream here is lovely. Just decided to resist the temptation, but next time I could cave.

One interesting fact. This place is called Andersen’s of Denmark, but you can’t find this outlet in Denmark and it was started in California in 1978. Oddly there are branches in Australia, Singapore, China and Bangladesh.
