Heeren Much Quieter: Without HMV and Marche

I miss the anchor store at Heeren, HMV (music store), which has now been replaced by a department store that seems to cater to teens and ladies. Hereen used to be so lively when Marche occupied the basement some years ago. No wonder the news reported that store owners were demanding for the rent to be lowered.

Saw some cute and quirky looking stuff at the new department store which would make interesting office party gifts. The only reason to come here now, would be for T.G.I.Friday’s or if you desire to hang out at a mall that’s not crowded.

Love the message celebrating Singles on these glasses. Would make great gifts.

I am starting to adore Rilakkuma (the famous cutie pie relax bear which is a hit in Japan) It’s just that I don’t collect stuffed toys because they just collect dust which I am allergic to.

The nose shower gel dispenser is just plain gross.

Doesn’t quite look like Goldie Hawn.

The Japanese Buffet Restaurant occupies the basement now, but you can also find a Subway there if you need a sandwich.
