I was Awestruck: The Three Belles by Strangefruit

Some days you get an unexpected delight and today was my day.  Thank you Three Belles, for adding magic to an otherwise regular day.

Another reason why I find the new Marina Bay Sands amazing and not just another mall. I heard dramatic music from afar and decided to go check out what was happening.  So glad I did not miss this awe inspiring performance by three beautiful ladies from Australia. Rarely do we catch street performances of this calibre. I felt like I was at a Cirque de Soleil performance. Not only were they stunningly acrobatic, the ladies were really into their performance and you could see the emotion on their faces as the mood of the music shifted. It was thrilling to watch. Perched precariously on their poles they swayed to the music, in fluid motion.  Their jewel toned pink and blue costumes were so lovely too.

Somehow even the video couldn’t quite capture how great there were when you were just standing there on the 2nd floor and they were swaying on their poles towards you….they were so brilliant and I have so much respect for artists, performers and dancers 🙂
