Serangoon Central’s Nex Mall (Freshness Burger)

This chain from Japan is opening it’s first store in Singapore on Wednesday, the 1st of December. Out of all the stores at this new mall, I am most excited about this one. I hope it’s as good as the one in Japan. They even have a spam burger on the menu.

I missed this place the last time as it’s on basement 2, where Cold Storage is as well.

Looks like they planned to open earlier, but could not get enough F&B staff in time. Looking at the salaries listed, I really think minimum wage should be set at S$1500 at least? Currently there is no minimum wage in Singapore. When I first started working in an office years ago, I earned S$1200 and it was plenty to me, but with inflation over the years, the S$1300 offered to crew members may be pretty low.
