Singapore Figure Skaters at Marina Bay Sands

The young skaters from the Singapore Ice Skating Association warmed up the crowd. The youngest performer was just 12. The Santarina who performed was so joyful.

I truly admire their skill, because the one and only time I entered an ice skating rink, I held on to the side bar for dear life. The floor felt so soapy and I almost slipped so many times. At the end of the day my arms were aching like crazy, because of all that clinging.

Ice skating is one of my favourite sports to watch. So beautiful and graceful.

  1. This just blows my mind! Did you get out on the ice?

Oh no…I only tried once many years ago and clung to the side bar for dear life….never again. Although, I think it’s one of the most elegant and fun looking sports there is. Do you ice skate? I so admire all ice skaters.
