Our Trip to Resorts World Sentosa (Part 1 of 2)

I’ll let the photos do the talking for now, as I am in a posting coma. I am trying to get all the 2010 photos up before 2011 and that’s why the excessive posting. I also like to post as soon as I can and while the memory is still fresh. When it comes to blogging, when the event has transpired too long ago, I don’t feel as inspired blogging about it. Also have been doing loads of touristy stuff lately as my companion has been on her year end work leave and wanted to fill the time with eating and exploring.

As we drove into Sentosa it was nice and sunny.

Then hours later, it starting pouring torrentially. I’m sorry, but I find the shape of the merlion here kinda creepy, especially when it had lasers shooting out of it’s eyes. I wonder if it still does that.

We wanted to explore the Underwater World but since there was no underground parking, we went straight to Resorts World instead. The parking charges came up to S$14. It would have been less if we had waited till 7 pm to enter. Our main plan was to watch the robotic crane dance which is a 10 minute free performance scheduled at 9 pm. I’ll show photos from that in another post.

I hope to come here again with my cousin when she visits Singapore. The last time we actually stayed at Sentosa, but there was no Resorts World or casino then.

It was hard to avoid the puddles and your shoes or slippers can get soaked. Kids will love this though. Adults avoid puddles, but kids jump right into them.
