Vertigo Inducing Ride up to Tully’s at Orchard Central

My blogger pal, 365 days to play is having a cool survey about your favourite coffee place in Singapore. Mine is definitely Tully’s. The one at Orchard Central is nice when it’s not crowded and you can get a good sofa seat at the corner for privacy.

But first you have to take the vertigo inducing escalator up to Orchard Central. The express escalator goes up 3 levels and that’s where the Tully’s and Quiznos is located. Quiznos is now my favourite sandwich place having beaten Subway in terms of taste. I think Subway is probably lower in calories though.

You can now see the top of the trees. If you have a fear of heights, you can take the regular escalators that just go up 1 level at a time, in the mall.

Spotted a new cafe called jewels which has afternoon tea. The tea time set includes macarons, which seems to be the latest trend in Food that has replaced donuts and bubble-tea. So far the best macarons I’ve had were the caramel ones at TWG, but they are super expensive so I haven’t gone back since.

Oh ya I forgot about tully’s. Will add that in. I don’t really like subway and despite their claims, I still believe they aren’t that healthy….subway sandwiches I feel are too generic, boring and too large to eat neatly.
