#5. Mango-licious

This has to be among my top 5 favourite fruits.  It’s tropical and easily available in Singapore, which is great.  If you pay a little more you can get the really good ones from India.  Otherwise the honey ones from Thailand are pretty good too.  They have tons of health benefits including being great for aiding digestion. I tend to need something sweet after a meal and I guess a yummy orange mango would be the perfect healthier pick.

  1. My daughter loves mangos, but I hate cutting them! I usually buy it already cut up. I just purchased some “Just Mangos” from a health store. Dried mangos with no preservatives or additives. I think I will add them to some bran muffins…….

Any advice on cutting them easier?

They say that you slice off the 2 sides and then cut into each slice while the skin is still on and the unfold it and cube all the pieces out into a bowl. I can be a super messy mango eater. Sometimes I just peel off the skin and chew!! 🙂
