Osaka Town at Raffles City (Okos)

I was disappointed by the meal at Raffles City too.  Maybe now that I have tasted really high quality Japanese food, I just can’t go back. (A bit like how Italy ruined Italian food for blogger and world traveller, Hart)

Okos is a speciality of Osaka that I didn’t try during my trip to Osaka, because it just seemed so deep-fried and I was really into the Udon and sushi when I was there.    Tried it for the first time here and it tasted just like an omlette with cheese, onions and mayo basically. I enjoyed the rice and chicken cutlets more in fact. My partner liked the miso soup.

I must say the decorative way the mayo is spread on the half pork Okos, is quite inventive.

The egg yolk does look good huh? B had this with the spicy pork.

There were so many booths available, but they almost squeezed us in between some people. The meal would be ruined not only for us, but for the other patrons as well. I always feel irritated when the tables so close together.

I leave you, my friends, to figure out this one.
