Dim Sum at Yum Char (Serangoon Garden Country Club)

You don’t have to be a member of the club to dine at Yum Char. There’s also another branch in Chinatown which I’ve tried as well, but to be honest I prefer to have Dim Sum at Taste Paradise at ION for the ambience, or the slightly tastier fare at Crystal Jade Kitchen. Yum Char is great for large groups though, and the staff are friendly.

  1. That tea cup and tea pot is so cute! I want one 🙂

Love going out for dim sum! In Japan we call dim sum “yumu cha”, so it’s easy for me to remember the name. I love the high ceiling. My tendency is to pick a place for ambiance. If the food is not that good, but the ambiance is good, I’m totally sold, but if the food is good and the price is right, I would go for the place that doesn’t have any ambiance or stylish decor. I love Din Tai Fung for dim sum.

  3. Wow these pictures made me crave for Chinese foods. I love Chinese foods especially dumplings and “nai cha” 🙂
