The service at Bakerzin was impeccable. The female manager was very warm and welcoming. It’s always nice to see professionalism and pride in service. It was what stood out and made me want to return. Besides that, the food was wonderful. I especially liked the spicy tomato soup, the greek salad and the warm chocolate dessert with raspberry sauce. Tried all 3 types of bruschetta and my top pick would be the one with tomato. Guess I like tomato quite a bit.
Loved the spiciness from the tobasco and the cream on top.
The lovely fresh greek salad. Just looking at it makes me feel healthy.

The pear salad was interesting too, but since I don’t take to sweetness in my salad I prefer the Greek one.
A bit of a messy affair when you attempt to eat it, but so good. The best part is food like this does not make you feel bloated after the meal.

Yum. Mushroom in butter.

My friends love the Otak (fish steamed with coconut while wrapped in a banana leaf) bruschetta. If you like Otak you’ll prefer this topping.

One dessert is not enough. No wonder the menu says you won’t be prepared to share. After the healthy meal I had I don’t feel guilty indulging a bit for the dessert. Especially loved how well the raspberry sauce, berries and orange slices went with the chocolate lava cake.
The little cafe was cosier than the ones in town. I also like the outlet at Tampines 1.
And oh yes, I also loved the free bread which you can dunk in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It’s self service and there’s a toaster where you can warm up the warm. I think I didn’t do it right as the bread was still cold.
This makes my mouth water! I want to go back to Bakerzin soon, thanks for the post 🙂
There are so many lovely desserts I just don’t know which one to choose…wish I could have them all!
