New at Bishan Junction 8: Toast Box

Had a cup of hot Horlicks at ToastBox and it was good. Haven’t had this very Singaporean malted drink in a long time. This is under the BreadTalk group, just like Ramenplay and the Icing Room. But Toastbox and Ramenplay are the newest additions at Bishan Junction 8. I quite like the new ToastBox decor with the mosaic flooring. The food is not the best compared to offerings at the neighbourhood market or coffeeshop, but they really do know how to go all out with a concept. They do retro with a modern take really well here.

The Bread Talk was here earlier but the Icing Room looks like a new additional as well.

I find the decor of Toastbox very quaint and inviting. I wonder where they buy their interior decor items. Everytime I go to the Toastbox at Marina Bay Financial Centre, I’m so tempted to ask if I can buy them. hehe

I have seen this type of furniture sold at King & Kings at Nex. They items look pretty, but when I look closely a bit rough around the edges. But I guess the mass production must make the prices better.

I love the interior design of Toast Box! They really did a beautiful job on modern take on retro. I love it! I also like the mosaic floor. Wow, so fun! We also have Bread Talk in Jakarta. I love bread!!

sorry I haven’t been online for so long. There have been cyber attacks on WordPress worldwide and Singapore is still having problems. Can’t access other wordpress sites either. Now after so many days I can see my dashboard. I just hope I can publish this comment. Usually it just freezes.

Thanks for visiting and your comment Kaho…I do like the decor too.
