Driving away after visiting the Peranakan Museum.
There’s a Chinese Temple next to a church I think? Thanks blogger 365days. It’s the Chinese Chamber of commerce and a mosque.
Did some googling to find out more about the mosque. It’s Masjid Burhani at 39 Hill Street and was established by the Dawoodi Bohra community in Singapore back in 1829. It’s visited by office workers in the Hill Street and High Street areas. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce is at 47 Hill Street.
I am not too sure what this blue building is but I love the architecture. Anyone know? Blogger 365 days who used to work in the area updated me – it’s the St Joseph’s Church.
The church was established in 1851 and is on 143 Victoria Street.
That Chinese looking building is the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, not a temple…and I believe the one on the left of it is a mosque. And the blue one is the St Joseph’s Church.
Thanks so much! 🙂 Was wondering what they were.
