I enjoyed the ambience more the the food which I found expensive. Our food taxes which includes service charge always come up to quite a bit. I always think in terms of how many cups of good coffee I can drink. I’d rather forgo food for coffee any day. It would be the best diet ever. To be fair to the restaurant, I also think I ordered the wrong items. Also I am totally not a meat eater. This blogger gave it a verdict of excellent.
Luckily it was a treat. My partner liked the bacon and apple dip. The natural light, and the sea view were refreshing.
You can chose to sit outdoors as well, but that would be too hot for me.
Definitely spacious inside and it was nice for a change that the tables were not too close together. You could chat without being overhead or feel that you’re disturbing your fellow diners.
Sparkling water, but I prefer distilled.
Partner liked the sausages.
I liked that it came with three sauces.
Interesting bacon and apple dip. Call me swakoo, but I found the bread too dry.
The decor at Brotzeit was lovely. I saw another branch of this German restaurant, at Somerset 313.

Swakoo?
another Singlish word…..derogatory….meaning mountain tortise or frog in the well….someone who is a country bumpkin…not too worldly…hasn’t been out much. I was hoping someone would ask 😉
I’m adding it to my list!
I didn’t realize I used it quite a bit till now. All these Singlish words pop up when I blog more than when I speak.
I know that term 🙂
What coincidence! I was at the one in KL just a few days back 🙂 Adore their wall paper 🙂
Didn’t know they were in KL too. Yeah the wallpaper is cool.
Oh wow I should visit that place and give some German food a go
