I should have ordered the dark chocolate instead of the milk one at Max Brenner. It was just way too sweet for me. If I was daring I would have ordered the one with chilli and spices in it.
I loved how the cup nicely fit into your palms which is the way Max Brenner wants you to enjoy your hot chocolate.
He calls it the Hug Mug. And I wish my drink looked like the on shown in the menu.
Dizzying array of choices. It was hard to make up my mind.
It took quite some time before orders were taken, as the girls were busy behind the counter. But service was polite at this branch.
The Bill:
Italian Milk – S$7.50 but it came to S8.85 with GST and the service charge.

My in-laws are from Spain and they used to tell me about the “Chocolat” that they drank for breakfast as children. So different from “hot chocolate” as the US knows it.
This is a great idea–I hope it’s on its way to the states!
This makes me want to try authentic chocolat from Spain. I think I should go for the one with chilli next time.
You must get wonderful food from your in-laws.
Oooh chocolate overload 🙂 I so would love to visit that place one of these days when I pop by in Singapore in the future.
