Screenshots from the Royal Wedding: William and Kate are Married

Sorry, some are pretty hazy. Exciting but not as magical for me as Princess Diana’s wedding. I did feel nervous for the bride though. Her gown was elegant, but I prefer the cinderella like gown of Princess Diana with the horse and carraige and the works. Still waiting for the couple to kiss.

I must say that Kate’s family members are really good looking. Her brother James and her mother. Is it odd for me to point out that James looks a bit like William?

What’s a Royal Wedding without the cute flower girl yawning.

Kate’s very pretty sister Pippa Middleton who is 3 years younger.

The elegant exit from the car.

Who knew Harry would turn out to be so cute. Celebrity blogger Michael K at D-listed calls him hot ginge. It’s sad that he seems to be loosing his hair too. At the crown.

Very serious.

Elton John was the only celebrity I spotted in the crowd.

The good looking younger brother, James Middleton.

Just 3 more photos as the couple exit the church. There is a horse drawn carraige after all.

  1. Thanks for your hard work at getting these photos! She is quite the “Jackie O” of England—very classic and beautiful!

I watched the whole thing too on the telly and wow, it is something we will be telling future descendants many years to come. Good to see the future king of England marrying his princess. If only Princess Diana could see it now

I was watching this in Geneva!!! Eyes were glued from 5am till 12pm. Hehe.. U should check out the Beckhams, I thought Victoria’s outfit was elegant and covered her baby bump really well. I didn’t even know she was pregnant!

So many things happening at the same time….watching just bits of the wedding…..distracted by the election news as well. Maybe that’s why I missed the Beckhams..hmmm.

  4. We have a TV in the elevator and everyone’s eyes was glued to it for the entire ride down. It fascinates me that people are so fascinated by the whole wedding, me included, even though we don’t actually know them personally! Btw I think Kate is prettier than Diana! Did you catch the little flower girl on the balcony scene, she was looking so grouchy. Think Kate tried to cheer her up but to no avail! James Middleton looks like a hottie himself too! Wonder what’s it like to be one of the Middleton siblings, suddenly being thrown into the limelight like this. Wonder what’s it like to be Kate Middleton. Does she feel like she’s the luckiest girl on earth?

I was just watching bits..the bits I photographed. missed the grouchy flowergirl..sounds cute! I think Pippa is very pretty.

To me Diana is a dream princess 🙂

Didn’t get a chance to watch the live telecast as i was out but will definitely check out the youtube videos! Kate looks gorgeous in that gown, although I must admit that Princess Diana’s wedding was simply the classic “fairytale” wedding.

Yes, James looks like William in the first pic although later pictures reveal him to be a lot more good-looking :p

    • bookjunkie says:

yeah…must be the facial expression in the first pic 🙂 Just didn’t get so much of a fairy tale element in this one with the shy and blushing bride. Here was a modern and composed bride…the gown as well.

  6. I didn’t get to watch Diana’s wedding. Which bit was the fairytale bit?

  7. Samyak says:

All the beautiful dresses, excitement and media frenzy notwithstanding what a King, Queen, a Prince and a Fairytale wedding doing in 21st century?

I had first thought I won´t react, but one ends up doing that! Sorry about it. No offence meant to anyone.

I thought that Kate’s wedding dress was perfectly suited to her, the Abbey and her new place in society. However, if I did it all again (and had that kind of body), I’d love to wear Pippa’s gown as my wedding gown.

It was absolutely gorgeous, and I think they’ll be just fine. They’ve had years to figure out that this is what they wanted, and they seem to really have good heads on their shoulders.

    I think Kate is gorgeous!
