Even though I have empty pockets, it’s still nice to walk around The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. For one, it has huge spacious walkways that remind me of the malls in the US. And it is quite relaxing as the crowds stick to Orchard Road due to the super high car park fees and the fact that the MRT is quite a distance away. It was so wonderfully empty on a weekday. Well, empty by Singapore standards.
Even the stores themselves look spacious.
And even nicer than those in Orchard Road, or should I say fancier somehow.
As I was strolling around, I wanted a shot of this necklace. Took this photo for my cousin, because she appreciates diamonds.
I am thinking sky high prices still, even though you see the Sale sign.
As I walked by this Dali poster, how I wished the tickets to the Arts Science Museum did not have to be so expensive.
I agree that the MBS mall seems swankier. It might be the greater open space or the decor…hard to say. If I were on my own, I might window shop there more, but with a toddler, it’s not a mall I’m going to spend much time in 🙁
Dali as in Salvador Dali? Cool 🙂
