The famously light and fluffy swiss rolls at the Rich & Good Cake shop come in many flavours. We picked
Orange,
Mango
and Strawberry – which was the one I liked best.
The Swiss Roll is really long and you need to keep it in the fridge and it will last a week. I guess it’s best consumed within 2 to 3 days as the nice lady explained.
The cakes were individually packaged in narrow boxes.
The little store has little standing room and you often have to wait for people to exit in order for you to enter. It was mostly the office crowd that are big fans. I saw them buying many boxes, probably for their tea time or for everyone to share in the office pantry.
All the flavours. There was also chocolate, durian, blueberry and kaya. Although I overheard that the durian was sold out, not that I would have picked durian. I would have liked to try the fruit cakes too, but we had already bought too much.
Those look gorgeous!
Thanks Crystal….hope you get to try them one day 🙂
I love Rich and Good cakes! Ordered them to serve my family members during the tea ceremony at my wedding. The durian, the mango and the Kaya are the best (in my opinion)! 😉
yeah I heard that the Durian and Kaya are the most in demand.
I’ve always loved swiss rolls. These colours are fabulous.
Thanks Sharifah….I love the lightness of a swiss roll 🙂
