There are now two great places for high tea at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Both by TWG which stands for The Wellness Group. I somehow prefer the one on the Bridge because there is a bit more privacy and it’s nice to look at the sampans below.
This second outlet is known as TWG Tea Garden. The cutlery here is so pretty and the food presentation exquisite. It’s always a treat to have high tea and I think it’s something you must do if you’re in Singapore and want a bit of indulgence and relaxation. The orchids, the gold, the lighting and the surrounding water, makes sets this place apart from the hotel high tea locations. But if you wish a less open surrounding and more privacy and cosiness I would suggest the Rose Veranda at Shangri-la. However, TWG is more of a French style while the one at hotels are more English or International style. Although the last time I was at the Rose Veranda they had switched to the TWG brand as well.
