I previously thought the barista at this place were a tad glum and snooty but this time there were new baristas and they were so nice. I really do appreciate humble, down to earth people – they don’t get enough credit.
This place is nice when it’s not too crowded and would be even nicer when it’s empty. The coffee was just slightly better than what I had at Oriole, although Oriole beats everyone hands down with their coffee art. The Shots coffee cup was pretty – I like simple clean fonts.
Love the decor of this tiny cafe, with the cherry wood floors, travel photographs and red espresso machine.
The single flower on each table was a sweet touch.
I don’t think I would ever sit outside and it was scorching hot when I was there. The heat was searing. Every time I see tourists preferring to sit outdoors in the sun, I think they must be from a place where it always snows and the heat is welcome. And sometimes I read posts where the blogger says they will be happy never to see snow again, while for me experiencing snow that one time was like pure heaven to me.
The store facade is gorgeous in pink and red with the street sign right in front so you can’t miss this little gem. Two colours you don’t normally see together.
