   I still find it quite strange that you only see the flags for national day.

     It is so regimented. I recall in the past, people who worked in the civil service being told to put up the flags – ok let’s say strongly encouraged. We tend to associate the flag with the PAP, but it should actually not be tied to any party I feel. That is what I don’t like and what I don’t think is fair.
