Pretentiousness Police on Gwyneth Paltrow and the Smiths (& the down to earth Afflecks)

I’m addicted to the celebrity gossip blog, D-Listed. Michael K uses his snarky wit to call out pretentious stars.

Goop is in Top Insufferable Form

“When you go to Paris and your concierge sends you to some… restaurant because they get a kickback, it’s like, No. Where should I really be? Where is the great bar with organic wine? Where do I get a bikini wax in Paris? People know that I know that…”

Will and Jada’s Mansion isn’t Big Enough

“For Will and me this home was always a spiritual endeavor.
We’re very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land. Whatever it becomes, the craftsmanship will always represent our union and the love of our family.”

The home of the Smith’s looks more like a hotel than a home.

I usually don’t like to see bullying on gossip blogs, but in this instance, after reading those quotes, I think they deserve to be taken down a peg.  I think many stars who spend obscenely, flaunt it are so annoying.

It’s why I love stars like Jennifer Garner who is so down to earth. It’s so refreshing. And is this photo of the family on the 4th of July, adorable or what.

Even Michael K who tries to find something bitchy to say, couldn’t find one bad thing to say about her. The worst he could do was boring.

Jennifer Garner is one of the few boring oatmeal people that I actually don’t mind. It’s weird. Whenever I watch her in interviews, I try to say something bitchy, but the words don’t come out of my mouth!
