Took a double decker bus around a small part of our clean island. Haven’t sat on the upper deck in many years and I recommend it.
Thought these bunch of flags sewn together and fluttering in the strong breeze was interesting.
Yesterday, everywhere I turned I saw school kids in red. Probably participating in the National Day Celebration at their schools. I think they have been asked to wear red for the occasion.
Also in the malls, almost every store had a 46% discount going. But I tend to be suspicious of these sales. They seem very gimicky and I wonder if the savings are real or whether the prices have already been inflated. Well, they could be real for all I know.
46 just seems so young to me, and I always wonder how she will evolve in another 100 years.
I’ve always loved sitting on the top of the double-decker bus, the view from the top sheds a different light.
it was nostalgic and Singapore is still super clean from the top, apart from leaves on top of the bus stop shelters.
Ellie’s school had a national day celebration on Monday, and yes, they were encouraged to wear red and white 🙂
No wonder one of my friends said she had to get red T shirts for her sons.
