View of Singapore from Malaysia

This is the view of Singapore from Malaysia, just to show you how close we are. We are close not only by proximity, but also in terms of culture, food and history. I think we have wonderful neighbours and I wish one day we could have the MRT line running into Malaysia as well. London and France have the chunnel, and I guess we already have the causeway, but I would love to see us connected in more ways. Perhaps even for regular visitors to not have to go through the customs? Don’t know if this is possible for security reasons but it would be nice.

More photos from the coastal part of JB, where right across you can see Singapore, her greenery and the tall HDB flats.

Your car can practically be driven into the sea.  There are no barriers.

It also made me wonder how long it would take to swim across.

Here you can see real sampans and watching the fishing boats was calming.

thanks so much Crystal 🙂 I thought the couple with the pink brolley were so cute and I had to capture it. They made me feel so relaxed. There’s a completely different laid back vibe in Malaysia which I love. So much healthier.
