Besides books, I also love Japanese animation by Miyazaki.

Vintage 21st anniversary books which were beautifully colour-blocked. Just gorgeous with even the edges of the book painted.

Must come back another night for the Lantern Festival by the River.

Oh my goodness, you made a mention on Miyazaki. Cool! Wow I would love to check this place out. My favourite Hayao Miyazaki animated work is Howl’s Moving Castle and I never get bored watching it over and over. The character Howl reminds me of Jonne Aaron(appearance wise) the lead singer from Finnish glam rock group Negative.

I love Miyazaki too and was looking longingly at those characters in a store the other day. My favourite movie is Spirited Away but I also love Kiki’s Delivery Service and all the rest of the movies too. Must watch them again soon.
Took some photos of the lights and creatures at Clarke Quay last night – so pretty!
