I haven’t been to Junction 8 in a while but it’s good to know I now have the option of soup or crepe at Saybons. I can’t resist the nutella crepe but I found the savoury crepes to be a yummy treat as well.
The crepe is very thin and it can be a bit tricky to eat as it flops over.
B raves about the seafood bisque, but I decided to try the broccoli cheddar for a change. Of course nothing comes close to the lobster bisque I had at a simple foodcourt in Boston. At the rate Singapore is going we might just have authentic lobster bisque a couple of years from now.
Had to snap a shot of their very interesting wallpaper that attracted my attention at their Plaza Singapura outlet as well.
A quick shot of the menu.
It’s just one floor above the always packed to the brim, KFC. It’s also next to a new restaurant called Ambush which I haven’t tried but I see that they have beer battered fish and chips on the menu
Oh my! The crepes are making me crave and I wish I have one now
Hi there wsy. Thanks so much for following me over to my new blog. I really appreciate that you always take the time to comment 🙂
You are welcome.
I must start looking round for you when I am at places – recently you have been at several malls probably at the same time as I have been there!
Ambush at Junction 8 (just across the street from where we live) has pretty good food and we like it. It’s a bit on the pricey side for us to go there a lot but what we have eaten there has been really well made and very tasty. We liked Saybons as well, although I’m not a huge crepe fan.
Hey Karin…..so glad you dropped by and thanks for commenting. it’s quite a small world in Singapore 🙂 I found Ambush pricey too, but now that say the food is pretty good I might try it one day.
updated your link so that i can continue reading you here! for about 2 seconds, i was afraid you were going to stop blogging! good to know this site will still be active and vibrant.
Aww…thanks a million Imp. I am so happy to hear that 🙂 I would passionately miss your writing if you ever stopped, as well. Sometimes I just read and don’t comment, but I am lurking around your blog home ;-p
I was hoping for a chocolate and strawberry crepe…they’re my favorite. Will still have to check it out, though 🙂
chocolate and strawberry is a good combo. I like how chocolate goes with orange too.
