Who can resist an ice cream place that you’ve never tried before? I find sorbet too sour for me though, but just so you know, they have it here at the Ice Cream Gallery.
Decided to go for the Salted Caramel Almond. A bit too sweet, but I just adore this little cafe and will be back to try another flavour. Generous huge scoop that was hard to finish on my own. Very laid back vibe and they let you take your time to pay at the end. Just don’t forget and walk out. Being absent minded, I tend to like to pay first.
The retro mosaic floors reminded me of my grandma’s house and made me feel nostalgic.
Good quiet place to chat or read a magazine.
The menu boards here are pretty with all that pink and wood.
Nice touch – the friendly signs as you enter…
..and exit
Pee Room – cute.
Not a coffee place, so I didn’t expect much, so it didn’t surprise me that the cafe latte was weak.
Keeping the original flooring in tact was a good idea.
Red bean ice cream sounds yummy. Hope you don’t mind me asking is Tanjong Katong near a place called Convent Katong or something?
I am sure Tanjong Katong Girls School must be nearby and I think Katong Convent too? will go check and update this reply.
ok checked….
Katong Convent is at Marine Terrace in the East Coast area and TKGS is at Dunman Lane with a side gate leading to Tanjong Katong Road 🙂 Must be fun for the girls to have such a nice location.
This definitely looks like somewhere I need to visit!
It has that laid back vibe I like.
Had never seen this place before, but I live on the East so I’ll have to try it out.
It was my first time spotting it too..must be new 🙂 Will look out for your post on it Flora.

It is quite good though one scoop at 4 is not cheap. But I will frequent again.
haven’t been back here in a while and was wondering if they were still open. Good to know they are 🙂
