Another Visit to Oriole Cafe & Bar

The warm lights, the mirror board. Oriole Cafe & Bar so beautiful and tastefully decorated.

Whoever in the team picked this lighting is a designing genious. It gives this coffee joint and restaurant, a very unique look.

The Flat White.

The Cafe Latte is a tad milkier. The coffee art is beautiful and I love that boutique outlets take the time to do it. Drinking coffee is really about the whole experience and I never like to have it take away.

The Chocolate Pecan Brownie is unique with a raspberry base and this must be shared by at least three. A few bites is all I could do as it’s pretty rich, but not cloyingly so.

The male servers here (could be the managers) are very polite and welcoming. I have to say, not atas like PS Cafe which I haven’t been to in quite a while. Atas is Singlish for snooty and pretentious.

These days I notice logos. The little bird on the bird’s nest is lovely. I wonder who’s behind the design. Maybe the same artistic soul who picked the lighting?

Just opposite Oriole were other pubs. At Malones people were gathered to watch Rugby I think – I’m not much of a sports fan but B is.
