Awesome Sculptures at ION: Frangipani & Bendy Woman

Not only is the ION structure gorgeous, I also adore the art installations that motorists can see from the road, because they are so huge.

Just discovered that they are part of a series called Art Beyond Limits and will be on display till 24 October. How I wish they could be permanent structures.

Orchard Road is a beautiful place indeed. Being on the road is a pleasure as you go through canopies of rain trees, wonderfully sheltered from the sun.

More information about the art in this excellent video by Opera Gallery, which these pieces belong to. They are displaying the work in conjunction with our Tourist Promotion Board. The female figure is based on Kate Moss, the model and the work is titled Myth Fortuna.
