I was surprised to find Macarons at NTUC Finest at My Village. But the meat section? Ok gourmet meat section. But isn’t that quite inappropriate? Makes the macaron totally loose it’s sophistication, or should I say, snob appeal. On the other hand I really should try these one day. Blogs, Serious Eats and The Delicious Life, reveal that the company Chateau Blanc supplies macarons to Starbucks elsewhere in the world. I wonder when our Starbucks will start selling macarons as well.
Here are some from the Icing Room at the 313 Somerset branch. I hear that in Paris even MacDonalds and Starbucks offer Macarons, but they are not as good as the ones at Pierre Hermes or Laduree or course.
I’ve never tried macaroons, I suspect I need to put this right at some point.
Macarons in the fridge that is just sacralidge!
yeah I was thinking they had to be consumed fresh and went stale beyond 5 days or so.
