Siri on the new iPhone 4S can’t compute Singlish

People made to queue up for their bosses, just leaves a bad feeling in my stomach. Don’t like it at all and it reeks of elitism. I for one would never queue for something like this and that’s why I will never understand the measures people go through to be the first to get the device. Queuing is one thing I have no patience for. Always feels like I am wasting my time and I sort of feel trapped in the queue, especially when there are barriers up and I can’t easily get out of the queue if I choose to. Not a nice feeling.

Maybe the new Siri will have one favourable outcome. We’ll all learn how to speak standard English that is recognizable internationally? It seems like even in Japan there is this problem. Japanese standard English doesn’t work with Siri either.

You may want to try the newest Windows phone. Its speech recognition is pretty good and works for me most of the time.
