This needs to be viewed from the the bench for the full effect. When you go up close you see the brush strokes and when you stand back all you see is the brilliant capture of the light. Call me swakoo, but I was just beyond amazed.

Live Art? Just part of the children’s tour. There was performance art going on. Although I have to confess I found children running about quite disruptive (sorry, I’m an old grouch when it comes to museums and libraries) and it was also very crowded with the many guided groups. Oh for a bit of solitude, this lady seems to say. An oasis of calm in the midst of the storm. Perhaps the time slot should have been blocked out for just the kids. Well, yet another excuse for me to revisit.
