Just Back from a Spontaneous Trip

Sorry, I’ve been away for awhile. Went on a very last minute, spur of the moment trip. Will be writing all about it soon. Meanwhile I am catching up on reading all my favourite blogs – and that means you and your fabulous lives. Feels like so much can happen in a span of 2 weeks. Reading some of your blogs is like watching reality TV. Very compelling indeed. Quite a treat.

Somehow it’s hard to get back to blogging when you’ve been offline. Also I realized that I can survive without technology, but when I get it back to it, it’s quite addictive and I can’t let go.

But I’ll be blogging soon. Like to get my memories down while they are still fresh.

The only annoying thing is all the spam I have been getting. It totally piled up and there were hundreds to clear. Somehow spammers knows just how to cheat the system. Carefully had to weed out legitimate comments and am so grateful for all the nice comments I got when I was away. Thank you kind readers.

Welcome back! As a web nerd, I can recommend the Aksimet spam filter. It’s a free plug-in for WordPress that’s easy to install. I find it works really well, it’s keeping the various corporate blogs I run totally spam-free. This is the link: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/akismet/

Wow didn’t know you went to Sweden and Finland!!!! I wish I had the time to go to Sweden too! You should post while you were there, then we can enjoy the holiday vicariously in somewhat real time!

I was too lazy to post and decided it was a good time to get an internet break. good for the old eyes. Also I tended to get sleepy and then realized it was just 5pm! Always thought it was like 10pm and bed time. Did you feel like that too?
